Bush Kinder Whole Term Date Sessions
(3-6 Years Old)
A caregiver must attend with their child.
This includes a parent or someone listed as an emergency contact such as a grandparent, nanny or friend.
Each session is a little bit different. A unique science based curriculum is developed each term and each session builds on the knowledge acquired in the previous session. We move around several locations within and close to your local council. Specific locations are sent via email upon booking.
Children enjoy a combination of teacher and child led activities that include literacy, numeracy and the arts. We may be walking, rock climbing, tree climbing, getting wet, dirty, muddy etc. With that in mind there is a recommended list of things to bring. I make a bush kinder back pack that I can easily carry around. If you have little ones with you, you may like to load a pram as locations are pram friendly on arrival. However occasionally, we may trek in places that are more suitable to leave the pram at our meeting point and carry essentials only.
What to pack (please ask if you are unsure or unable to provide these things.)
- Healthy snacks
- Full Drink Bottle
- Picnic Blanket
- Sunhat/ Sunscreen
- Dress in Layers of Clothes (eg t-shirt, jumper, coat)
- Raincoat with a hood
- Change of clothes
- Footwear with grip that is water resistant
